Girls Fastpitch Softball Sign-ups
Tulsa Girls Softball Federation offers recreational fastpitch softball for girls ages 5-18 (must be 5 by May 31st). League begins April 2nd and ends May 24th with a year-end playoff tournament for all teams on June 1-3, 2012. Cost for registration is $55 for all age groups, registration is based on age as of Dec. 31, 2011. A copy of the player's birth certificate must be provided/mailed when you sign-up (unless on file with TGSF). Additional costs handled by the team are umpire, uniform & equipment costs.
You must sign up online. You can pay online or mail payment. If you do not have the ability to sign up online, see below or contact TGSF at 918-437-5072. Registrations received after February 24, 2012 are not guaranteed placement.

You can complete the registration and pay online, however, if your daughter's birth certificate is not on file you will need to send a copy of the birth certificate to TGSF. You can email to tgsf67@gmail.com; fax to 918-610-5767 or mail to TGSF-P.O. Box 691973-Tulsa, OK 74169. You can pick up your free t-shirt from the souvenir/concession stand at Savage Park once the season has started. Shirts must be picked up by April 26, 2012.

Background Checks
All head coaches (TGSF teams only) must complete an online background check. All coaches (head coaches, assistants, etc.) must fill out/turn in a background check form. The cost to you for the online check is $12.95 and must be completed annually.

NYSCA Certification
At least one coach (TGSF teams only) must be NYSCA certified. We recommend that two coaches from each team certify. For information about NYSCA certification, click here. If you are new to NYSCA, click here for online clinic instructions.

Coach Meeting
Mandatory Coaches Meeting—Rec. League
Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 Savage Park—7pm
It is mandatory that at least one coach or other team representative attend this meeting. We will discuss the upcoming season, rule changes, clinics, umpires, scheduling, etc. You will receive your 2012 coach packet at this time. Player info, league fees, team roster, team information sheet, background checks and forfeiture fees will be DUE Sunday February 26, 2012 at 1pm at Savage Park. Scheduling begins March 5, 2012. Softball Skills Clinic

Tulsa Girls Softball is hosting a softball skills clinic for girls playing in the TGSF REC league. Come out, join the fun and improve your skills on pitching, catching, and fielding. Pitchers must provide an adult catcher and bring your own softball.
You must pre-register! Deadline to register is April 1st and spots are limited. E-mail your registration to Dave Bach @ dbach3@cox.net. Be sure to include your daughter’s name, age, team name she plays for and a contact phone number.
If unable to register through email, you may call 850-7660. In case of inclement weather call 481-4467 for clinic status.
TGSF Player and Coach of the Year Awards
Please nominate your favorite player and coach to receive the TGSF Player of the Year award and the TGSF Coach of the year award. Award is based on academic achievement, community service and softball participation.
