TGSF Competitive League

League Information

The league will begin on April 5, 2010 and end on June 3, 2010. This is a 9 week season and will consist of 12-14 games per team. A & B divisions will be offered in all age groups: 10-12-14-16-18. In the event there are not enough teams in a division to form, each team will be contacted for an alternative choice.

TGSF offers a home/away schedule to all teams. Double headers will be scheduled as field usage allows. Special attention will be given to travel considerations during the school year. Any games cancelled or rained out may be rescheduled, based on field availability, by contacting the home association.

Teams registered out of TGSF and playing their home games at Savage Park will be provided game balls and lineup sheets. TGSF teams will be responsible for ASA registering and insuring their players through RegisterASA  prior to play starting. In 2010, you will also be responsible for registering your team IFA, USSSA, etc.  TGSF teams will be responsible for paying the umpires at the field prior to the start of each home game. Umpire costs for 2010 will be $25  each for a two umpire game and $31 for a one umpire game.

Savage Park - 3pm

We will discuss ASA registration, league scheduling, league rules, etc.  All paperwork will be available.  Coaches, Managers, league personnel and schedulers are encouraged to attend.

All paperwork and fees are due Sunday, February 14, 2010 - Savage Park - 3pm.  This includes rosters, team info forms, forfeiture fees and league fees.  TGSF registered teams also need to bring player contracts and background check forms on all coaches.

Important Dates and Information: 

*An ASA roster must be turned in to TGSF prior to league play for all teams participating in Competitive League play.
**ASA rules state that all teams participating in ASA championship play must have at least one coach ACE certified and an ASA background check on all coaches/personnel in the dugout.  A photo ID is required for championship play.  A valid driver's license is an acceptable photo ID.
